We explored how humans experience emotions and the different strategies we use to regulate them, including the roles comfort objects like stuffed animals play. We learned about historical and modern emotional support tools (like weighted plushies and heartbeat simulators) and imagined futuristic designs using AI, temperature control, and other technologies. Through a hands-on design challenge, builders then created their own models of emotional regulation plushies of the future!
