We investigated the concept of underground cities by journeying through history, learning about ancient underground sites, current innovations in subterranean architecture, and imagining future underground habitats. After discussing how underground cities might help us solve modern challenges like urban overcrowding and climate change, we took matters into our hands and designed unique models of our underground cities of the future.
